I travel a lot.  I am not talking about flying around the world, flying from place to place.  I am talking about travel across town for dinner, to shop or travel across the country.  This blog is a place to talk about all those places that I go.  Some good, some bad, but my thoughts and my opinions. 

For instance, yesterday I was in the Los Angeles Airport (LAX).  After returning my car to Thrifty Car Rental I had the opportunity to ride the shuttle over to the airport.  Wow, the guy driving that shuttle was truly talented.  Weaving in out of traffic like a shuttle ninja!  I checked my baggage quickly and got through security quickly.  Then I went to Continental Gate 60 with an hour to spare.  Unfortunately I had the misfortune of having to go to the ladies room.  Oh my gawd! 

As I was walking to the restroom a lady came out of the restroom complaining disgustedly aobut how bad it was inside.  I could hardly wait!  What greeted me as I walked in the door was shocking.  Toilet paper on the floor of most of the stall, paper towels flowing with abandon out of the trash cans and on to the floors.  Standing stoically by the door was the janitorial cart, with mops, broom, trash bags and gloves.  I think the cleaning person took one look at what was ahead of her and turned around and took the first plance out.  Not that I could blame her, ladies, really can you put the toilet paper in the toilet and the paper towels in the can! 

So, a word to the wise, if you go to LAX, gate 60, beware of the ladies restroom.
